Common questions
- Do I need to make an account?
- No. There is no password and no signup form. You confirm a phone number with a six-digit code, and that is only so your driver can reach you.
- How do I pay?
- By card, in the app. You add a card while you wait and it is charged only when your driver marks the job complete — nothing up front, and no cash to find at the roadside. Card details go straight to our payment processor; Motora never sees or stores your card number.
- What if my phone will not share my location?
- Type the address instead. Location sharing is optional — plenty of people turn it off, and the request works either way.
- What do you need from me?
- What is wrong, where the vehicle is, its make and model, and a phone number. A tow also needs the drop-off address. That is the whole form.
- Can I just call instead?
- Yes. A real person answers and takes the same details over the phone. The number is at the top of every page.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Right now, six counties across Northern New Jersey: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Morris and Union. That is where we are starting, and we are adding areas as we grow — if you are just outside it, call and we will tell you straight whether we can reach you.
